Website Design and implementation
McCallum’s web work goes back over the past few years as a number of clients, both new and existing, have requested changes or concepts for new websites to better keep abreast of the competition. In addition, as we maintain a proactive approach with our clients, so we have attempted to identify where opportunities lay for them in their online development and suggest suitable solutions. In many cases, existing sites were either unable to be sufficiently updated or were no longer representative of the company – either in structure or philosophy. Therefore it was key to identify these issues and make the necessary amendments.
In other cases, it was more important to focus on increasing their rankings in the search engines, thus employing a number of SEO strategies, as well as creating blogs and other social media outlets to further improve their brand.
In most cases though, a website is the first and foremost point of contact for current, potential and non-customers, thus the site should be seen as the fundamental resource for everything to do with the organisations, often replacing the traditional brochure or Power Point. Thus, while others may dive in and create a site, we prefer to swim in the blue ocean and identify a correct, and future-proof strategic approach.
